Viewing art is an experience.

Essentially what we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste gets filtered through our brain, and stimulates memories, associations, and different regions of our body. A specific stimulus pattern is created whether we are seeing just a single line, or a realistic oil painting.

Supporting People with Art.

A commissioned piece for example, can hold specific energy and code that can support a person on their journey and add a needed dynamic to their life.  Below I have a write-up from a client who expressed their appreciation for commissioned art.

Both of us [Ravi & his girlfriend] feel like that the painting really speaks to us.  I cannot express in words how much we love it.  Thank you Thank you!

You have really done an amazing job knowing exactly what I had wanted.  I really cherish your expression of kindness in doing this for me and I am so grateful to you.

Ravi

I started creating art in late 2005 because a friend and fellow artist (that I had commissioned several pieces from) suggested we make a painting. It turned out really good, and I was hooked.  This was great, for I had always wanted to be an artist, and come from a family of artists.

I started with acrylics and watercolors largely because I used my hands and I was painting in my home.  Gel mediums, gestural lines, and unintentional figures all became hallmarks of my work.  Before long I was using oils, and traditional techniques.

In 2009 I began making my first digital works.  I found the process to be fun, and quite portable.

On this page I’ve featured 13 pieces that both tell the story of my development, and have a positive message.
